Chamber President & CEO Keith Scott to Resign from Chamber on June 30 |

After 10 years of leadership at the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO Keith Scott announced at a Board of Directors meeting today that he will resign from the Chamber effective June 30. Under Scott’s leadership, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce has lead the way as the voice of business in Baltimore County. He leads a staff of three under the direction of a 25-member Board of Directors. Scott is also the President and CEO of the Baltimore County Small Business Resource Center, overseeing one staff member under the direction of an eight-member Board of Directors. “The Baltimore County Chamber is very appreciative of Keith’s work and leadership over the past 10 years and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” said Chamber Board President, Jason McCormick of McCormick & Co. In 2007, Scott was hired as the Chamber’s Government Relations Director before transitioning to the President and CEO role in June 2008. His professional involvement includes serving on serving on the Baltimore County Workforce Board and he is a graduate of Leadership Baltimore County and Leadership Maryland. After his resignation, Scott plans to pursue TALLsmall Productions full-time. To find the best candidates for the position of President and CEO, the Chamber’s Board of Directors will form a search committee to fill the position.
