Enchanted Cakes and Treats

I came here yesterday to check out Enchanted Cakes on Harford Road in Parkville.

The interior is fun and colorful. I bought a couple of doughnuts and a large M&M cookie. Everything was delicious and less than $6.

They also have ice cream. This looks like a great place for a kid's birthday party, there is a small seating area.

I always go for the shakes and they never disappoint. Out of 30 or so different shake creations I've had 8 and hope to eventually try them all. The S'mores is hands down one of the best shakes they have, but they recently added "Black Forest" for the chocolate lovers and now I have to drive there at least once a month to get another. Always a great experience!

Enchanted Cakes and Treats makes a DELICIOUS cake. we had a cake emergency and they rose to the challenge. They made a delicious and beautiful birthday cake for a 3rd birthday celebration. Everyone LOVED the cake- not only how it looked, but how it tasted. Thanks for saving our birthday celebration and delivering a beautiful cake in record time!

I came here for some hot chocolate balls at Christmas and I loved all of the options! It was a little hard to find parking when I got there, so I ended up going around the block and parking behind. I liked that I could order them in advance online though, so all I had to do was pick them up.

The actual hot chocolate was good, but not spectacular. They were pretty sweet and the caramel one was a bit too weird with milk. I loved the decoration of the snowman but the green one was supposed to be the grinch, but it was just green. Definitely a fun Christmas present to do once but not sure I'll buy them again.

Would not recommend the cocktail cupcakes. Tried the lemon drop, strawberry margarita, and patron flavors. Couldn't taste much of the alcohol or other flavors, and the cupcakes were 2/3 dense frosting and 1/3 okay cake. The cocktail cupcakes also lacked in decoration with just some glitter thrown on for $4.50 a piece...

I have never been to the actual bakery, but today I was at a food truck event and Enchanted was there. I got a pupcup for my dog because, duh obviously lol. For myself I got a Reese's cupcake. It goes without saying that my dog loved her cupcake haha. The Reese's cupcake was not bad. The cake was moist but didn't have a lot of flavor. The frosting was good but the frosting to cupcake ratio is a bit too high. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to go to this bakery, but if their food truck happened to be near me I would probably try another cupcake.

It takes 3-5 business days to receive a response, you'd think they'd have someone JUST to take calls (which I had to call more than once) and emails. I called/emailed over a week ago for a cake and still didn't get all the info I needed, so I Would have to wait ANOTHER 3-5 days for a simple question about pricing if I decided to use them(which I'm no longer considering)

Delicious! The milkshake was amazing. Took two of us to finish it!! The cupcakes are all so cute and delicious as well!

I really enjoyed the shop look and the especially the taste of the cake! I was little disappointed that there weren't more "ready" cake, even though I understand the specialty is make to order cakes. The associate was very polite and helpful. He answered my questions and I was happy with the customer service I received. Again, the cake was tasty and VERY pretty. Would definitely order a cake in the future from there.

The other day, my colleague recommended this place to me, so when I had a craving for a soft chocolate chip cookie I decided to try this place. I called to make sure the cookies are soft (so many places have cookies but they are crispy). The person who answered was really nice and made a little joke. I was happy to hear that the cookies are soft, so I went.

When I arrived, I spotted a large cookie with chunks of chocolate chips. I was thrilled! It was a bit pricey with a total cost of close to $4. When I got home, I warmed it up. It was really good and satisfied my craving!

On the downside, the people working there weren't very personable (in person). I like to connect with people, so I could sense the lack of connection. It's important to note though that it was my first time there, so this isn't to say that they aren't friendly, just that in that moment, it felt very transactional. Plus, we're all human, so they may have just been having a moment themselves.

Overall, they have quite a few desserts to choose from, everything from cupcakes to ice cream, milk shakes, and other varieties and sizes of cookies as well. If I'm craving a soft cookie, I'm likely to return because I know that it's good but would like to find a place where the connection is just as good as the taste of the goods I'm purchasing.
